It's far easier, and I bet if studies were done comparing land and online, in terms of rate of people getting hooked, it would be significantly higher. Unless you live next to one, it'll usually require planning, and a trip, and all that it entails. That's why casinos, are the only way to engage in the behavior. Imagine that playing cards for money can elicit the same responses drugs do highly addictive and lethal ones. Same mechanisms at work, very similar intensity. In fact, the science has already proven time and again neurochemically the gambling experience is no different than the heavy drug experience. Well, it's probably not that easy for good reason it's addictive. Man, can you imagine if we had a Poker site like that open to all States? WITH a blackjack option?
